The role of education in society today

So, you believe that education is absolutely essential in today’s society? Educated make a significant difference in people’s lives?

Education is the process of learning and knowledge acquisition at school by a teacher, becoming known at home by a parent, a family member or even a friend. Education is a key that people to move into the world looking for better jobs, and enables success in life. Education is a factor of the order concerning positioned people, advance in their future career, the income that they make, and the titles to keep them. The educated person is, the more prestige and power that person holds.

, unfortunately, we have places in the world where not everyone has a chance or opportunity to receive formal education, however. India is among the countries where there is a high population of people who are illiterate. Almost 55% of the population in India are illiterate. In part is because most of the country, in villages and in the cities, where education is more common. Most of the people who spend most of their time in villages in the growing crop and harvest their fields and be educated not to be necessary in order to harvest their fields or to make housework to find it. The girls in the villages to marry at a young age and later get busy with family and housework. According to Indian belief, generally girls get married at an early age and are asked to stay home and take care of the household instead of studying or working. That is the reason why many parents in India are concerned always marry their daughter on, rather than their training. I can give you an example in my own life. When I was in India, I wanted to get more training and fulfill my dream. In contrast to what society thinks I wanted to pursue my career in health care, to serve my own community. The support from my family, especially my grandfather gave me the strength to keep my dream alive. I was 18 years old when we. To the United States, and the transition to a country that is different culturally, scientifically and politically was not easy I did not know what I could do with my life, when I came to the United States. The transition was difficult for my parents also. The need to search for a business, concern for the education of my siblings and me, and in a new environment setting was definitely a challenge. After, it was the most College in India hard for me to begin my college education. My father’s brother, who is a doctor, inspired me to keep my dream alive, to pursue a career in medicine. I started my education at the community college where I struggled with most of my classes in the first year when the education system was different from the one I was used to. I joined clubs and other organizations at the University, to know more about the medical profession. I have the knowledge, the ego is necessary for a career in medicine, but still, I had never seen such things in the real world of medicine. I have everything I could do to help me to fulfill my dream. I am currently an emergency medical technician and I like working in the allied health field.

I think brought the most important thing is not only for success in life, but the better educated population plays an important role makes a nation more successful and well-rounded. Receiving formal education is to achieve crucial, but for success in life, much is, informal education. One can speak English, history, math, science in school to learn, and his “book-smart”. Moreover, one can learn how to know life through what to say when acting to live in a certain way in special situation, and his “street-smart”. You can have all the “book” knowledge of the world to a particular profession, but if you do not know how you know with your colleagues and superiors as having behavior “book” run too far. For example, if you are a doctor by profession, you have to know all the knowledge about the world of medicine and a lot about health care, but if you do not have bed side manners and not good to interact with your patients, staff, and the team than what is the point of having all “book” knowledge. To achieve success in life and to a point in life where people respect you for what you are, is what makes a difference, because to excel at this point in both formal and informal education. Education is very important and no one should be deprived of it.

“No nation can only rely on the police and the army, to a large part of the national security depends on the education of citizens, their security their knowledge of affairs, their characters and sense of discipline and their ability , effective on Safety “. -. Kothari Commission
